GET SYNTHESIS INFO
Method of the pwar object.
Gets information about how the domain is scaled for the circuit synthesis.
Contents
Description
Gets the property synthesisInfo of the pwag object, which contains information about how the domain and the function are scaled for the circuit synthesis. The structure has the following fields:
- archtype - type of architecture used ('A' or 'B'), see [Comaschi et al, 2012]
- nbit - number of bits for the fixed point representation of data.
- nbit_output - number of bits required by the output to avoid overflow.
- nbit_int - number of bits used for the integer part.
- nbit_part - number of bits used for each axis in the partition.
- nbit_prec - number of bits left for precision.
- nbit_address - number of bits used to address the function parameters Fi, Gi in memory.
- transformA, transformB - matrices used to transform the domain into the range representable in the digital architecture. .
- alpha - scalar value which must be used to bring the values of the function computed by the circuit into the original range. .
- folder - directory where the VHDL files are stored.
Syntax
output = getSynthesisInfo(object)
Gets the whole synthesisInfo structure.
output = getSynthesisInfo(object,field)
Gets the field field of the synthesisInfo structure. For example, field is 'nbit' or 'alpha'.
