My main research interests are in the area of computational neuroscience, with emphasis on:
- Application of dynamical systems theory and bifurcation theory to the study of neuron models.
- System identification in large scale neuron networks.
- Channel noise and spike-timing reliability in Hodgkin-Huxley neuron models.
I am also interested in:
- Nonlinear dynamics
- Circuit models of nonlinear systems (e.g., biological neurons)
