Andrea ANZALONE, Ph.D.

Andrea Anzalone was born in Genova, Italy, on May 11, 1979.

He received his Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Genoa, Italy, on February 2004.

His main research interests are in the area of image processing, with emphasis on:

• Use of parallel architectures to solve variational problems in early vision applications
• Use of archives of images in problems of classification or segmentation

In all the cases a particular emphasis is set to biomedical applications.
